Fog is one of my favourite things. Magical and mystical.

DeleteAnd yes, each is alone.
Therefore (third stanza):
Verily, no one is wise
Who does not know the dark
Which inescapably and quietly
From everyone him separates.
And yes, sometimes "something" seems to separate "us" from "ourselves".
True. Although we do see bits of one another, through glass, darkly...
