the fastest commenter of the month you already are!! :)
As all good things come in three (who would doubt?) the rest to become golden and red?
    Fingers crossed.

  5. Some of the leaves here are falling before changing to their beautiful autumn colours. Many turned brown and fell midsummer because of the severe drought.

  6. For years, I've collected autumn maple leaves with a renewed sense of wonder at each season. Inimitable colours...Never one like the other...Even in their dryness, a delightful presence between the pages of many of my books.

  7. Janice,
so no Indian summer this year?
Not that I'd call it alarming signs, yet, but we notice, too, that some trees have started to early drop their leaves.
Still, it looks like middle, end of October our eyes will be able to enjoy a colourful feast.

    Claudia,
well, I'll keep my eyes open and see if I can find an / some exemplar(s) predestinated to continue their life within book covers. :)
