  2. The delightful and very talented Itzak along with the wonderful dulcet tones of Yo-yo. What more could one ask for on a lazy Friday night.

  5. Nevin,
    - two in one :) -
    1. Glad I posted a pleasure for your ears.
    2. As Omnium is a treasure trove re grammatical mistakes, whimsical syntax, adventurous handling of prepositions etc., neither you nor any esteemed reader should apology for now and then being a tiny bit imperfect. - It makes me feel so guilty. :)
After all, some would write Perlman's first name Itzak, some Isaac, some Itzhak.

    jmb,
    'What more [...]'
Indeed, the more as the title refers so nicely to the previous post. :)

    Hans,
did you ever try to follow Superhero's advice? :)
Quoting the master: 'all you have to do is to open a proxy site first, such as www.vtunnel.com [then type the direct url]. and dont worry about any legal problems you might encounter, because nobody actually cares for it and more importantly, even the turkish prime minister mister recep tayyip erdogan confessed that he can access the youtube videos in spite of the ban.'

  7. Dear Hans,
regards to the Turkish seanachie when you meet him this weekend. - I'd like to be a fly on the wall when he's going to let you into the Prime Minister's secret. :)

    Ardent,

  8. Dear Sean,
Our Hero just send a mess that he will not make it this weekend, but I still can ask Erdogan himself, or not? He is more aware about avoiding the law enforcements than I am..))

  9. Do it, Hans, do it. And after your tête-à-tête with Tayyip the Magnificent, please don't forget to let us know each tiny detail. :)

P.S. So his lady-boss is keeping our Hero busy again with so many 'absolute-priority-jobs' that he'd not only have to work day and night, but during the weekend, too? Inanılmaz!

  10. Shall I wear dark sun glasses, like he used to do, and shall I show him the sole of my shoe?.)
Please, give me some of your wise directions Sean..))

  12. Hans,
I think to create a warm and relaxed atmosphere right from the beginning it would be charming if you - before shaking hands with the President - would politely kiss the First Lady's hand. :)

    Jams,
do I detect a tiny twinkling of your right eye? :)

  13. It's a good custom to give Turkish friends a kiss on the cheek, so I will give him that..)) and the She? A firm kiss on the mouth..))

  17. Thank you for the mood you were in...What a magnificent performance! Dvorak is so amazing. And the two great artists were led by another star: Seiji Ozawa, who conducted the Toronto Symphony Orchestra for a few years. I met him backstage once (as is my habit), gushing my admiration (as is my habit!), and was surprised that he wasn't much taller than I was (then). Physically, I mean. As a musician, he is ten feet tall!

So grateful for your widgets and your past treasure posts.

  18. Now that's interesting, Claudia:
By clicking the video I do get but the message that this video contains contents of Sony and can't be watched in my country anymore.

The more glad I am that you could watch, listen and ... did enjoy. :)
