Interestingly, when the sun is standing in the west,
the sunflowers in Seanhenge
would look eastwards.
Which is why this very photograph
has the effect it has.
Do I need tell that very often
when being here I am longing to be there?
Anyway ... wishing everyone
an august August.
Enchanting!
ReplyDelete...and the best to you too, Sean.:)
What a radiant bloom!
ReplyDeleteMy newly-re-blossoming cactus and I wish you and your readers an awe-filled autumn, Sean.
I am fond of a photo I have, of a pair of sunflowers in a garden in Poznan. Curiously, both are facing away from the sun. A wider survey of this phenomenon may be necessary.
Such a beautiful sunny bloom :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat a beauty Sean!
ReplyDeleteClaudia,
ReplyDeletethank you. :)
Stan,
thanks to your cactus and you.
As for the wider survey: It should not be too difficult to generate third party funds (EU, sunflower-growers and solar power industry) for our basic research. I think three million Euros would be fine for both of us, for a beginning, hm?
CherryPie, Jams,
a sunshine, isn't it? :)
