What a wonderful piece to hear this early morning while the moon shines through the window. Thanks for posting Sean.
He wrote quasi una fantasia... to play pianissimo... A quiescent movement, creating the right atmosphere to bring a moment of peace to the troubled heart of a world always in turmoil.Merci Beethoven. And Sean for the presentation.:)
A lovely treat, thank you Sean. Beethoven was capable of brilliant melody, but he also knew when to throw out the rule book. I love the third movement of this sonata too, though it's almost certainly forever beyond my ability to play.
Janice, Claudia, Stan, glad your ears enjoyed what they heard. And thank you for letting me know.
