Such a fine piece, and so nicely performed. Years ago, I got this CD as a gift for someone, and very soon had to get my own copy! Not all of the music appeals, but I savour its standouts, and still enjoy the films they were written for.
Splendid interpretation. Great musicians. If only (once in my life) I had performed at that piano with such a group and Maestro! Morricone is a few years older than I am, and he is still on a world tour. Prodigious man!
Ah! well...I would never say that I saved lives, but (once upon a time in the West) for 47 years, I made some people comfortable when they were ill and depressed. And, though I earned only a fistful of dollars for my work, I was happy as a lark when doing it. Cheers!
Stan, ha, that's interesting to read! Not that I do not savour the music – I do –,tending to be a bit more macabre these days, first of all I posted this for the German title, though, which is, as you know, pretty different from the English one.
Claude, one of your dearest dreams has not come true. Be sure, though, and allow me to take your adjective: you are a prodigious woman ... a lifelong symphony of empathy.

ReplyDeleteThanks for the introduction, Sean.
