Same procedure as every year

If counted well the Germans today can watch Dinner for one (The 90th birthday) - history here - twelve times at different times on various TV-channels.
Very strange folks, the Germans.
Well, judge for yourself.

Tiny tip-off: Be absolutely determined not to laugh.

  1. That's a new one for me. Strange world. I did laugh.

  2. Isn't that interesting?

Happy New year to you Sean. Where did 2009 go?

  3. Happy New Year to you.

I couldn't possibly keep a straight face for that one :-)

  4. Please, tell me where I can hire a British butler. He is much needed...

Best Wishes for the New Year. Lifting my glass to your good health. À la votre!:)

  5. Very entertaining. Did you watch it many times. And what does the butler do at the end?

  6. Andrew,
    laughing? You?! Confess you're joking.

panta rhei, and so did 2009.
Thanks for your good wishes. May 2010 become a good year for you and the old scientist.

"You are the sweetest little woman. ... the sweetest little!" :)

Happy New Year to you and yours, too.

"You're looking younger than ever. ... Younger than ever." :)
À la votre! And a very happy year to you, too.

hm, never counted, but I suppose over the past 40 years I may have watched it about 120 times, or so.

As for your question re the Butler: I do have no idea. Claudia seems to know more, though. Mabe we should ask her? :)

  7. to my count, this is the very first time i saw it and really enjoyed it.

  8. jedilost,
    glad you enjoyed it ...
and a happy 2010 for you and Mrs Jedifound. :)
