Friday is Skyday

  1. Chez Sean, c'est vendredi!

    C'est un ciel harmonieux
    que lui offrent les dieux.
    Les nuages en douceur
    flottilent d'heure en heure
    chantant une mélodie
    animée de couleurs
    qui calment notre esprit.
    C'est presque le bonheur.
    Pas d'orage, pas une pleur.
    C'est presque un paradis
    le ciel que notre ami
    nous présente aujourd'hui.

    Chez Sean, c'est vendredi! :)

  2. ahem: two L for flottillent.

Bad poetry, Sean. But it's fun to do, every Friday, with your sky. When much, much younger, I used to do this with a group of French speaking friends. We would choose a photo, and we would all write rhymes. Amazing that everyone would go on a different path with the same photo.

whenever you see more than one tree it's north of Seanhenge.
This is why I found/find the colours amazing.
Glad your eyes enjoyed what they saw.

    Claude,
    ah! Thank you so much.
If my French were as impeccable as is my English - haha - I'd love - yes: not just like - to answer in French rhymes.

    Bad poetry?! Nah.
The word honour - and many other words - have been misused in the past and are being misused up til today.
This does not necessarily mean the word has lost lost its meaning, hm? :)
    Thus: I do feel honoured.
    Merci de tout cœur!

    Lady Janice,
and there are certain Germans who think one has to own a house in Tuscany ...

Not that I don't like the Tuscany. :)
